The blueberry granola pancakes are awesome! Good food, cheap, fun local place.

An NU favorite. I really like the diverse menu, though some of the choices and the service are hit or miss. Great place to hang out with buddies.

I would really like to see some NU students work an 8-10 hour shift on their feet, trying to make a living by serving food to ungrateful, spoiled brats who have never learned to say "please" or "thank you". Most of the people who eat at Clarke's are decent human beings, and some are even decent tippers. But seriously, acting superior to your server or just being an asshole will not get you great service. Try saying hello, and following service with a "thank you". Your waiter/waitress will remember you, and you will not only get great service, but also super-yummy milkshakes :) P.S. Some of our food is good. Some of it sucks. Ask your server - she'll be honest with you.

This has gotta be the most over rated restaurant in Evanston. You can get better table service at Burger King than at Clarke's. Their skillets are pretty good, but you might as well go to Le Pepe. The only good thing about Clarke's is that it's open late, but if that's your thing, Kafein is a much better bet. Kafein's shakes are at least worth what you pay for them, which is more than can be said for Clarke's.

One of the most overrated places to eat in Evanston. The food ranges from barely edible to just above mediocre and is way over priced. If you've got a car, there are diners with cheaper and tastier food open 24 hours. Clarke's gets its pants beaten off it by the Deluxe.

Okay, I loved Clarke's, all the girls and I took our hangovers there every Saturday to eat. This lasted for 2 years. Why'd we stop? Walker Bros. Seriously, Clarke's sucks.

The food is mediocre, but its always a plus to have breakfast foods served at all times I guess. The food is a little bit overpriced for its quality, but its always a great hangout place anytime. So if you're bored, go to Clarke's. If you want breakfast, go to Clarke's. If you want excellent food, then go somewhere else. I think the non-breakfast foods suck.

I can't remember the last time I paid over 6 dollars for mediocre diner food. Grungy and overpriced, but hey it is open late if you want it.

I've only had the breakfast food here, but it is AMAZING. The omelettes and pancakes are sooooo yummy. And the service isn't horrible, but it isn't exceptional either. It really depends on who you get as a server because there is one really nice guy there. Other than that, Clarke's is sooo good!!!!
