Amazing. That's all that needs to be said.

Absolutely unparalleled. The food was both delicious and exciting and the service was excellent. My fiance and I have been touring Evanston's international restaurants and this one is by far the best. It's a bit pricy, but the food is worth every penny. The sauteed pumpkin and the Mantoo (beef and scallion dumplings) are both amazing entrees. For something different, try the Persian ice cream-- the flavor is indescribable, but it's a great way to end a delicious meal.

This place is one of my favorite restaurants ever. Absolutely fantastic food, great prices, and an unbelievably friendly staff. The only downside is that it's not close enough to walk to from campus.

Since this is the only place I've ever had Afghan food, I don't have anything to compare it to. That doesn't, however, change the fact that I love it! I'm vegetarian and I always get the vegetarian sampler, but I never get tired of it. It's 4 dishes and seasoned rice--yum! My fiance usually ends up picking off my plate because the stuff is so good. Also try their green onion dumplings. Yum!
