did you know this is one of the best bakeries in the world? the head pastry chef, with two other americans, won the international baking competetion just a few weeks ago.

wow. that is very interesting. no chairs, but tables. did you know that in europe you have to eat standing up, or they charge your ass like...1 dollar? anyway. that has nothing to do with bakeries like bennisons. it IS a nice place. hey. wouldn't it be cool if for my next birthday, someone dressed up like a groundhog and popped out of the birthday cake? that would be some ill shit. but wait. my bday is not on groundhog day. good place, for real. eat their food. eat their cake. have champagne for no reason.

Just like your hometown bakery. I definitely order all my friends birthday cakes from here--they're great and give you a badass plastic cake cutter everytime.

BY FAR the best bakery in Evanston. Reasonably priced too! The only downside is no chairs, so it's carry-out or nothing. This is made particularly bizarre by the fact that there actually are tables there. Just no chairs.

This is a pretty cool bakery. The people are nice. Even if they did recommend holey bread to me for sandwiches which made the tuna salad fall through.
