Totally inauthentic, which I wouldn't mind if it tasted like anything. Service is crappy. And it's expensive.

broke ass college students should not come here. Everyone else, TLMC is amazing. The old location was good, the new location is good. Try the patron anejo margerita. Try the chicken quesidillas, and try the duck fajitas. delicious.
Please, for the love of god people, don't compare this place to Las Palmas - get some class.

Simply bad food. Beat you on the head bad food. Taco Bell has a better rating on this site! The atmosphere is cool i guess, but doesn't make up for the food. Anyone who says this is the best Mexican food in Evanston clearly hasn't tried Lupita's on Main St. Now THAT is amazing, authentic Mexican food.

Pity -it used to be wonderful when it *was* that little Mexican cafe next to the Italian restaurant and Vive la Crepe. Now it's moved, it's huge, service isn't as good and friendly as before, and the food is HORRIBLY spicy -went back and asked 'light on spices', made no difference...

I've been looking for good Mexican in Evanston... Still looking. This place was the worst. Absolutely the worst marguarita I've ever tasted.

Really expensive, especially for dinner. The food is good, but certainly not great. Kind of like a very chic Baja Fresh. I agree with the idea that it's the best Mexican food in Evanston, but this really doesn't say much.
