This is great Chicago pizza. It's tough when your compeition is Giordano's, but Carmen's wins that challenge. The tomato sauce on Carmen's pizza tastes much more natural and the crust... oh the crust! Carmen's baby!

Nothing very special about Carmen's, unless you're really fond of all-you-can-eat buffets. The buffet's pizza is largely unexceptional, as are the salads, and the pastas are weak. Although this review is based only on the buffet, there are better choices out there than Carmen's.

A bit better that Gio's in my opinion. At least you won't be waiting for hours for your pizza to get to your table. Go on mondays for the all you can eat pizza buffet.

The Carmen's Experience is one of complete and total rapture. Although the service is weak, the atmosphere is devoid of charm, and the pizza is inconsistent. Once in a great while, I am reminded of the fondness I once felt for this august establishment and its scintillating blend of herbs and spices - which is all that really sets this place apart from any other over-priced cafeteria.

Carmen's has some of the best pizza I have ever tasted... Their stuffed spinach pizza is awesome. Their salads are really good too. We went there after a movie and had a great time!!

This place is ONLY good for pizza. If you want nothing but very tasty Pizza, it may be the place to go, but expect nothing else!
