One of my favorite places in Evanston! The food is tastier than Aladdin's and better value too! I love the seafood entrees and the combination entrees. You can't go wrong with the dinner for two specials where you get free drinks and appetizers! I always take a third of my food home.

This is a good place to go for a reasonably priced, tasty meal. Great hummus, moutabel, and falafel! I don't recommend their chewy spinach pie though--it's definitely better at Golden Olympic or Dengeo's. If you order one of their huge pita sandwiches (especially as one of the lunch specials), you can definitely fill up without breaking the bank!

Every time I've gone, there service has been courteous and prompt. The atmosphere is sort of disconcerting, but you can't get falafel like this within walking distance, as far as I know. The rest of the food is pretty good, too.

whoever jso095 is...you have got be kidding when you say olive mountain isn't authentic. I grew up in the middle-east and this is as authentic as it gets. excellent food and the service is friendly. please, to all of y'all who always only order the baklawa, try koulaj for dessert. It's mmm...simply delicious.

This place would crap its pants if it had to compete with Pita Inn. On the whole, Olive Mountain is a reject restaurant that can't compare to any of the Chicago middle eastern dining establishments (Reza's, Andie's, Juliana's, etc) I hated it and I don't recommend you wasting your time there. The atmosphere sucks because it is cramped and the music is lame. For a more authentic and same food quality I would go to Cafe Hookah!

Very good food with good sized portions. Prices are, aside from one bad experience with kibbeh, very reasonable for what you're getting. Staff is unusually friendly and attentive.
