      Ah yes...for a franchise, they are pretty darned good. Of course, I am only speaking about the bar because that is the place to be on any night of the week.

      Great bartender. Atmosphere conducive to conversation and relaxation without excessive crowds. Outstanding variety of beers on tap. If you're of age, this is the place in Evanston to go!

      For bar food, Bar Louie is better than most dives. Pretty big selection of sandwiches and salads. Tons of beers on tap. Best place to pick up a few imports and a slightly more sophisticated crowd than Nevin's or 1800
