      Really, this is not a good BBQ place at all. I mean yes, its meat, which is great, but the sauces just don't cut it. I long for St. Louis and KC!

      I went here on my very first date with my boyfriend of 1.3 years! Yummy ribs and mac 'n cheese and good bread! Comfort and American food rolled into one.

      This is some authentic southern Americana cuisine! Great atmosphere! The menu actually has a better variety than one might expect. Everything from the salads to the ribs are exquisite. Yum!!

      The food is only outdone by the atmosphere! Sucha fun place to go with a group of friends to sit at the bar or have a great meal. Even my friends from Kentucky appreciated the authenticity. Highly recommended

      The burgers at Merle's are great. The fries could be a little better, but aside from that, everything I've ever had from Merle's is wonderful.
