Not Asian food. It's a Midwest version of Oriental cuisine...

i can't believe so many people hate this place. it is probably my favorite restaurant in evanston. no, their food is not authentic. but it is tasty and interesting and different.

The appetizers are great, the salads are good, most of the entrees are mediocre to bad. It is fun to come on monday (i think its mondays) with a big group of people and do the all-you-can eat sampling menu. thats the only time its worth it. also be prepard for a wait.and the ladies' room is in a really strange place next to the kitchen, making the whole experience that much less classy.

As far as I know it's not meant ot be Chinese, Korean, or true to any specific thing. So, consider it "asisan fusion." There are some items I don't care for at all on the menu, but I do like the following items: Chicken Salad (be sure to add the vietnamese hot chili sauce), Ramen & Udon noodle soups, Crab wontons.

The sesame noodles are amazing, but everything else I've tried is mediocre to bad. The portions of dim sum are also pretty dinky given the prices. Order delivery on the sesame noodles, or go somewhere else.

It looks like a cool place from the outside but damn, the food was awful. Don't order Thai pad woon sen, it was the worse asian food I've ever put in my mouth. I heard the dim sum is not bad, maybe I'll give their dim sum a try. But stay away from that noodle dish.
