      Even as a vegetarian, I think the food is just okay. It's definitely over-priced.

      Vegetarians - this place is amazing. So many restaurants try to make things vegetarian by just taking out the meat, and it just ends up tasting shallow, like it's missing something important, like flavor. Blind Faith actually gives vegetarians faith that the choice to be vegetarian was not a contract to eat the same bland salads and sandwiches day after day.

      BLEH. if you want good vegetarian food, get a bean burrito at Baja... this place is bad. bad. bad!

      The food and the atmosphere at Blind Faith will make you feel good. Don't be fooled by the fact that it's vegetarian--it's hearty, so go hungry! One warning: only order the potato and corn enchiladas if you are prepared to have cravings for them all the time.

      even if you're not vegan/veg, there's ton to eat and enjoy. their deserts are delicious, considering veg desserts can be pretty bad.

      This is my favorite restaurant and place to eat. Everything on the menu. Please don't pay attention to the ratings that knock it down -- likely they're by meat eaters and thus are biased, though I've even brought my father and my friends' fathers, who are strict carnivores, and they've decided, in the end, after cracking their jokes, that this is a pretty great place. There is a reason this is voted Chicagoland's Best Vegetarianfare. On par with San Francisco's "Greens" though not quite as upscale and focused on gourmet-particular. Order the Sun Salad with Grilled Seitan: my personal addiction.

      The food is amazing, and it shows everyone how easy it is to be a vegetarian and still eat great food!

      The food here was decidedly average for the price, and the wheat-germ-grass-bran-tofu pancakes were not good. Otherwise, it's a cute place.

      ask for the waitress paloma...she's so hot right now...

From: tsl292 @ (2003-02-19 11:41:53) :: Overall:
      This is a pretty fair vegetarian restaurant--not great, but not bad either. It's definitely expensive--I feel like their entrees belong in the $6-8 range, but they're in the $8-10 range. If you're a vegetarian, it's fun to be able to eat everything on the menu, but for the money I'd rather go to a nice Indian or Ethiopian place (like Ethiopian Diamond off the Thorndale stop). Alice and Friends, which is also off the Thorndale stop, is a better vegetarian place, though it's more focused on Asian style cooking. Blind Faith is fun to try once in a while, but it's not one of those places I find myself craving.
